Christmas Across North Jersey • Share Jesus with Children This Christmas

Christmas Party Clubs are coming soon!

YOU can be involved in telling children the TRUE meaning of Christmas!

What is a Christmas Party Club?

Christmas Party Clubs are a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship® that presents the Gospel to churched and unchurched children. These one-time events are taught by Good News Club® leaders, Sunday school teachers, children’s ministry workers, and other believers who love children. Christmas Party Clubs include a Gospel-centered Bible lesson, games, a memory verse, songs, and more to teach children about the true story of Christmas! Party Clubs can be used as a one-time outreach program, a party for your Sunday school, and more.

Christmas is usually remembered for what Jesus did in coming to earth, but it is also a celebration of who Jesus is. In this year’s Christmas Party Club lesson from CEF Press®, children will learn that Christmas is A Day to Remember.

How will this benefit my church?

Through a Christmas Party Club, your church can work alongside Child Evangelism Fellowship to reach the children in your community with the true story of Christmas. Most children are not regularly attending a church where they are hearing the Gospel. It is imperative that we share the true meaning of Christmas and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children in our communities. As you reach out to your community, you will have the privilege of watching God work in the hearts and lives of children and adults alike. It’s a perfect opportunity to make connections with unchurched children and their families. See lives changed at your Christmas party!

VOLUNTEER

What does a Party Club volunteer do?

Volunteers share God's love with boys and girls during a 2-hour program that features upbeat games, songs, and an interactive Christmas story. God has gifted us all differently; has He given you a gift to share with the children this Christmas season?  Volunteers might . . .

  • Lead songs and help kids learn the motions.
  • Pray for and with the kids.
  • Patiently listen while children spell their names and give them name tags.
  • Teach memory verses. (CEF  makes it simple to do this.)
  • Lead games, play with the kids, and cheer them on.
  • Sit with a child and help him/her focus on the lesson.
  • Review the message of salvation with a child who responds to the invitation and explain what it means to believe in Jesus.
  • Smile at a shy child and encourage him/her to join in the fun.
  • Volunteers who have CEF Bible lesson training may teach the Bible lesson.

We need volunteers who know and love Jesus and want to see kids come to do the same. You can serve in one party club or serve in many! You may form a team with your church group or friends or join a team organized through the CEF office.

Volunteers will receive training and teaching materials to use in teaching Christmas Party Clubs.

All volunteers must apply to serve with CEF and attend CPC Training.

HOST

Who can host a PARTY CLUB for children?

ANYONE – You are concerned about the future of our children and want to have a positive impact. Christmas Party Clubs can meet in living rooms, community rooms, and anywhere children can safely and comfortably gather.

CHURCHES – Your church desires to share the Good News of Jesus with the children in your neighborhood. Christmas Party Clubs can meet in your building or use another facility in your community--somewhere people who might not be comfortable coming to a church could be welcomed. You can even host a Party Club during your Children’s Church.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES – You offer a regular service to kids or families and want to incorporate a special Gospel presentation and celebration.

DAYCARE OPERATORS – You provide daycare at your facility and are concerned about the spiritual development of the children in your care.

SUPPORT

All of CEF's ministries are dependent on the prayers and financial support of God's people.

As we get closer to December, we'll be providing a prayer guide so that you can pray with us for specific requests related to Christmas Party Clubs. You can pray on your own or join a special prayer band which will pray together weekly for our Christmas Party Clubs.

Christmas Party Clubs are a cost-effective way to reach boys and girls with the Good News of Jesus. CEF provides the curriculum free of charge to those who are committed to conducting clubs. We also provide craft and game supplies, take-home materials, and other supplies to ensure that cost is not a barrier for volunteers who are willing to give of themselves to show God's love to the children.

Finances are required to provide training, background checks, insurance, and supply the club curriculum, teaching supplies, take-home materials, and snacks for clubs in some community locations. We estimate that an average club costs $125. Would you be willing to give toward providing materials for a club? Perhaps you would even consider underwriting the cost of one or more clubs.
