About CEF

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in the local church for Christian living. CEF does this through our local ministry programs such as the Good News Club, a weekly after-school club for elementary-age children held in schools, churches, and community centers across the state, as well as our summer program, the 5-Day Club.

Who We Are

At Child Evangelism Fellowship, we are committed to reaching and positively impacting children across the state and around the world. Our programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children on their level in their environment, including their schools.

When we help children understand the Gospel and come to know Jesus, we’re equipping them with Godly principles, instilling them with life-changing hope, and encouraging them to grow in their faith by attending local churches.

Children are the future, and as Christians, we’re called to introduce them to the incredible news of Jesus Christ. Will you join us?

Local Leadership

The local work of CEF in North Jersey is conducted under the authority of the New Jersey state board and state director. The local committee is a subcommittee of the NJ state board and has been organized and authorized by them to carry on CEF's vision and programs in the six counties which comprise the chapter. The local director is hired by and responsible to the committee, as well as the NJ state director, and is not a voting member of the committee.
