Oh Lord, as we start this new year in the face of the gigantic difficulties of loss of significant financial support and strong opposition to our ministry, we are thankful that we can pray knowing You will overcome them.

Praises

  • Roger Ramirez hired as new State Director/ Coordinator
  • Linda Schramm deeply immersed into Local Director/ Coordinator position
  • Darlene Asea hired as Ministry Coordinator
  • CYIA re-established in NJ
  • Strong relationships started with 3 churches (MABC, Preakness, Sussex CRC)
  • 16 new volunteers served in ministry
  • Successful 26th mission to Paterson parks (22 volunteers from 9 churches; 223 children, 25 professions)
  • A new GNC established in Wantage set to start 1/7/26
  • Budget met, a strong financial position maintained

Current Requests

  • Sussex Wantage GNC - 2 registrations so far; volunteer team of 7
  • Linda Schramm completing her advancement to Local Director
  • Darlene Asea assimilating into her role of Ministry Coordinator
  • Impact of support being dropped by largest donor (25% of 2025 donations)
  • A BOE "ignoring" of Facility Use Requests for 3 GNC's can be overcome
  • Liberty Counsel filing discrimination charges against a BOE and a staffing agency in support of a CEF volunteer will have a positive effect on the situation without going to court

  • More prayer partners and greater attendance at prayer events
  • Resources, staff, & volunteers to reach children in all 6 North Jersey Chapter counties
  • Opportunities to develop church partnerships
  • Volunteers to join the committee and sub-committees
  • Growth of all CEF of NJ chapters
  • Wisdom for NJ State Board maintaining the property and guiding the chapters
  • CEF president Jeremiah Cho and the International Board – wisdom in strengthening organizational policies and procedures
  • For the CEF workers in areas of conflict - Ukraine, Haiti, Middle East
