CEF of North Jersey Welcomes Susan Forshay as Part Time Office Associate
Forshay anticipates helping expand CEF’s ministry by providing administrative support.
Boonton, New Jersey. Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of North Jersey welcomes Susan Forshay as our new Part-Time Office Associate. Forshay will provide administrative support to our Local Director.
Forshay has worked as a teacher’s aide in an elementary school and as an office assistant for other organizations. She volunteers with Team Healthcare, a group of nondenominational evangelical Christians sharing God’s truth in underprivileged communities around the world through VBS and Medical mission trips. Through this ministry, Forshay has shared the hope of Jesus Christ with children in communities around the world, including Jamaica and Africa.
Forshay has served as a volunteer in CEF’s Good News Club® and 5-Day Club® programs and has hosted 5-Day Clubs in her own backyard. Forshay enjoys using the CEF curriculum. “CEF provides the format and all materials needed to run kid friendly lessons. Great training is also provided before each new lesson series. In the beginning, as I considered serving with CEF, this gave me the confidence that I needed to step out and serve in a new way,” Forshay said.
CEF of North Jersey’s work is expanding as pandemic restrictions ease. “We’re excited about what having Susan’s assistance in the office, even on a part-time basis, can mean for the ministry,” local director, Twyla Pellegrino, explained. “She’ll be able to take on tasks to free up ministry staff to develop church partnerships and reach more children.”
Forshay and her husband reside in Pompton Plains.
